Leon Simmons Was born In South Central Los angeles sometime in 1963. When Leon was just 5 Years old his father passed away, Which left him and his younger siblings to be raised by their single mother Gloria. As a kid Leon became friends with Franklin Saint and Kevin Hamilton. Leon looked up to Kevin's Older brother Kane as he wanted to be just like him. Leon was also a very troubled kid as he would mostly shoplift, steal and fight. Leon's trouble followed him through his teens which landed him in juvenile jail. In jail Leon would Frequently be Sent to solitary confinement for "Scrappin with the eses" (fighting with mexican gang members). It was there where he met JJ, A member of HTB Western tribe (a local street gang).
Leon arrives at Franklin's House blasting "Cutie Pie" By One Way On his Boombox. Leon Compliments the looks of Franklin's next door neighbor Melody. He is immediately confronted by Melody's Father Andre in which he says he was only joking. Leon Accompanies Franklin to the valley where he meets Franklin's good friend Rob Volpe. After leaving Rob's house, Leon accuses Franklin of living another life outside of south central and keeping it from his friends.
Franklin arrives at Leon's Apartment after being robbed. Leon agrees to help Franklin get his money back. Leon introduces Franklin to HTB Western Tribe. After learning that it was lenny and ray-ray who robbed Franklin. Karvel a Member of HTB took Leon and Franklin to lennys house. The three kick in the door and tie lenny up. They begin to interrogate lenny but to no avail. Karvel becomes impatient and drags lenny in a room by himself. Leon Listens in through the door and realizes that Karvel is Sexually assaulting him. After Karvel finds the money he walks off with the full 30,000 dollars refusing to pay Franklin. The next day Leon Finds out where Karvel lives. They arrive at his house only to see that Karvel spent most of the money on a big party and a tricked out car. The two break into his house Brandishing a pistol as they find Karvel Barely awake. After Karvel Falls out in front of them the two assume that he overdosed and places his body in the truck.
The two try to negotiate with Franklins supplier Avi who he owes money to. By giving him the tricked out car and Karvels dead body. Avi suggest to the two boys to bury his body in the desert giving them tools, While also demanding that they pay him the money he's owed. The two boys drive out to the desert only to realize that Karvel is still alive. After Karvel breaks out of the trunk Leon shoots him in the hip. Following the blood trail Karvel left behind Franklin and Leon find Karvel bleeding out. Karvel begs for his life and after realizing that Franklin couldn't pull the trigger, Leon shoots Karvel in the head Finishing him off.
Leon Later Convinces Franklin to bring him and Kevin along as partners for protection. After completing a deal with Claudia, The trio begins to celebrate in Franklin's house. The celebration didn't last long though after Franklin realized that Kevin and Leon were using the product. In order to sell the rest of their product the trio head up to Oakland, To meet with Kevin's cousin. They arrive at a biker party as they wait for Kevin's cousin to arrive. Leon and Kevin begins to party not knowing that Franklin left earlier. Being forced to wait for Franklin's return, Leon and Kevin sleep in their vehicle. When Franklin returns the next morning Franklin showed the two the new rocked up form of coke he learned about from a local dealer he met. After returning back from Oakland Leon and Kevin begin giving out the rocks for free in order to build a customer base for Franklin. While serving Leon is attacked by a Homeless man with a knife. After jumping the man Leon ended up with blood on his sneakers.
After asking to be reimbursed for his sneakers Franklin insults Leon which Leads to a fight between the two. Kevin breaks up the fight as the two go their separate ways. Looking to squash the beef Leon arrives at Franklins house the next Morning But notices lenny approaching him with a firearm. Leon attempts to get away by running to Franklins backyard but is shot multiple times in the back. Bleeding out Franklin arrives and immediately calls and ambulance while on the ground Leon wisely advices Franklin to hide the product to avoid the police searching his house. Leon is rushed to the hospital and luckily makes it out surgery. While recovering Leon Hears about Franklins plan at revenge and gives him advice telling him to not hesitate when has a chance, while also telling him to think about the ones he cares about before he pulls to trigger.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019, from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019, 12:00 Noon at Pine Hills Community Church, 1305 N. Pine Hills Road, Orlando, FL with Pastor Dwayne Lewis, officiating.
